How AXY is governed
The plan in four parts

Today
AXY is developed by AB2BC LLC, a Wyoming technology company that builds the AB2BC chains, wallets and services. CopX, the exchange expected to list AXY, is a separate company; both are affiliated with AXY’s founder, and that is disclosed wherever it matters.

Planned steward: AXY Network
AXY Network is being established as a Wyoming nonprofit association (a DUNA). Its job is to steward the AXY chain independently of any one company or person.

No single key
AXY’s most powerful functions, minting new AXY, freezing an address and upgrading the token contract, are planned to move to a multi-signature account. Any action then needs, for example, three of five signatures. The signers are to be independent of the founder, who would hold at most one key.

AXY DAO
Once AXY is on mainnet and holders can vote, the community’s governance (proposals and votes on AXY Network’s rules) will run as the AXY DAO. Until then, no vote has binding effect.
What AXY is not
Holding AXY gives no share of any company’s profits and no claim on anyone’s assets. AXY is meant for use on the network.
